At least 21 killed in GHF-gassing and resulting stampede; ‘Israel’ further restricts Egyptian aid to Gaza, violating EU agreement; the Zionist entity detains a senior Gaza health official and murders a journalist in the process; and tropical Storm Wipha grows over the southern Chinese coast, taking lives with it.
—15 Palestinians were murdered on-site by the Gaza Humanitarian Farce at an aid distribution center, while at least 6 more died from resulting injuries, during an ‘operation’ that took place last Wednesday morning. Firsthand accounts describe an extended period in which aid seekers were held in an enclosed area, gassed with insane volumes of pepper spray, and left to suffocate. A horrific stampede ensued. Notably, this is the first time the GHF has admitted to their actions resulting in death; this admission was insincere, however, as they blamed Hamas for the killing. In stark contradiction lies the 875 confirmed dead so far since the GHF first made a presence in Gaza.123
—Two weeks ago, the European Union and the Zionist entity reached a supposed ‘agreement’, which discussed increases in aid including more trucks from surrounding territories, and opening crossing points and aid routes. According to Egypt’s foreign minister, as of last Monday, the flow of aid has ‘not increased’. We also note another significant direct action in a series meant to break the siege: thousands of activists from around the world were expected to reach Egypt on Thursday, aiming to break the ‘Israeli’ blockade. They were unsuccessful in doing so, but not in rallying the hearts of friends of Palestine everywhere. 45
—Undercover forces working for ‘Israel’ detained a senior Gaza health official, named Marwan Al-Hams, outside of a field hospital last Monday. Al-Hams was reportedly in the middle of an interview, during which the corresponding journalist was shot, and Al-Hams was abducted. According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, the move “represents a direct targeting of the voices of the sick, the hungry, and the suffering in the Gaza Strip.” We remind you that there is no meaning to this madness, other than the further exploitation of the Palestinian people, and the further growth of the capital of ‘Israel’.67
—A recent capsizing by a pleasure boat in Vietnam marks an increase of deaths caused by Storm Wipha, jumping up by 34 people. Notable neoliberal press has denoted the incident as isolated, and has failed entirely to make the connection to the tropical storm; this is in an attempt to obscure the effects of our current, global climate catastrophe, on the working and oppressed people trying to fix it. As more heat enters the ocean and the atmosphere, their systems increase in volatility, and tropical storms like the typhoon now hitting China can become more common, if not normal. 8910

‘Israel’ is and has been actively participating in the commodification of Palestinian deaths, as well as lives and land, in the name of ethnically cleansing the entirety of Palestine, for profit. The Zionist entity is committing a genocide, and they’re being paid to do so.
We knew they’ve been testing military technology on Palestinians, and selling the results. We knew they’ve always wanted the land, the resources. And we knew that, the longer they sell the myth of a noble ‘Israel’, the more bombs, bullets, tanks, warplanes, mercenaries, training, and funding they get from the Imperial Core.
I’d even say I understood that Palestinians are under active exploitation while they are alive. Even in the mutual aid aspect, a good chunk of the money sent to Palestinian families from efforts in my area likely went directly into an ‘Israeli’ pocket. We knew about that, too.
I personally just never put it together: the Palestinian knows no peace, because even after their death, their oppressor makes material gain from their exploitation. It goes beyond killing for the sake of killing, beyond killing for the sake of a collective identity; ‘Israel’ has simply found a variety of ways to murder Palestinians, and get paid insane amounts of money to do so.
Marx discussed how everything becomes commodified under capitalism. Every once in a while, I have an “oh shit” moment, and I realize again that, yeah, it really includes every single material (and plenty immaterial) thing you can think of. Our mental health is commodified. Our attention is commodified. Our students, our homeless, our migrants of all methods, are commodified. It. Is. All. About. Capital.
It is in this that I find an example of the unique evils of capitalists. They bastardize their human creative engines, using their minds to come up with more and more useless and obscure products. But they do more than that. They come up with new ways to exploit us, and sure, they utilize the butterflies and rainbows first — slightly higher rent, bills, and fees, less accessible care, and worse infrastructure. But when the Imperial Boomerang comes back around, the capitalist turns to darker stuff. We see it everywhere these days.
So it’s really not a question of why ‘Israel’ is doing what it’s doing. It’s a question of why they’re being allowed to continue. If I had half an ounce of balls, that’s where I’d be, but instead I’m here, pontificating about how evil they are while they keep doing the evil. As a man of action, this contradiction is slowly destroying me.

I find myself disgustingly unable to say that ‘Israel’ is ‘insane’. I can’t say that they’re ‘out of their minds’. I can’t even say they’re ‘stupid’.
They’re just fucking capitalists. And a hanging could never be enough.

—We again stand in solidarity with the Brown Berets De West Valley. Last Sunday, one of their comrades was arrested on false charges, and brutalized by the police in the process. They have since released a statement thanking the community for their support and condemning the actions of the department responsible. This group regularly participates in important, revolutionary, grassroots organizing, with the aim of protecting the BIPOC community on the Westside, in Salt Lake. They maintain a 24/7 I.C.E. Emergency Response Line, which you can find and utilize on their Instagram or in the mutual aid registry at the end of the printed format of this edition.
—In the interest of promoting a highly successful mutual aid organization, we would like to again mention the Salt Lake Bakers for Palestine. This stellar organization has been working tirelessly since last winter (and most of them for much longer) to feed the people of Palestine by sending direct mutual aid obtained through regular bake sales here in the Valley. They are significantly successful in doing so, and if you’d like to support their efforts, please watch out for fundraising events and Venmo links on their Instagram account.
—RiseSLC, AKA the Revolutionary Institute for Socialist Education, Salt Lake chapter, is a powerful collective with a growing following here in the Valley.
